Energy upgrading of a 3-storey, 6-unit residential building.
PROJECT
The energy requalification of the residential building addressed and resolved the deterioration issues of the facade, which was characterized by damaged bricks and deteriorated balcony sections, through consolidation and renovation works on the exterior. Thermal insulation with a cladding system was installed, along with the replacement of some window frames and shutters, improving the building’s energy efficiency and significantly reducing heat dispersion compared to its original state. The intervention contributed to enhancing indoor comfort for the residences, leading to lower energy consumption and a renewed, contemporary architectural aesthetic. The building got a new aesthetic by replacing the previous clinker with plaster in shades of gray, achieving a neutral and elegant finish.
ENERGY DATA
The operation was carried out by taking advantage of various building incentives, including the Superbonus 110%, the Facade Bonus with a 90% tax deduction, and the Renovation Bonus at 50%. Summary of the energy requalification intervention: Natural gas saved: 3,194.10 m³/year (equal to 41.80%) Energy saved: 44,356.35 kWh/year Global non-renewable performance index (EPgl, nren): -45.70% Total global building performance index (EPgl, tot): -45.00%
